Home is a playful exploration of domestic life through surrealism, distorted proportions and unexpected perspectives. Created as a three-dimensional accordion collage, the artwork unfolds from left to right, taking the viewer on an unconventional journey from the streets of London into the private rooms of a house.

The journey begins outside, among familiar London architecture, an oversized businessman and fashionably dressed characters reflecting the city’s contrasting personalities.

But once inside, the rules of reality — and social etiquette — disappear.

Instead of entering through a conventional hallway or living room, the viewer finds themselves in the bathroom, unexpectedly interrupting someone sitting on the toilet. A surprised woman’s face, combined with another body, captures the awkward absurdity of being watched during a private moment.

The journey continues through the living room and kitchen, where familiar furniture, decorative objects and everyday items appear in deliberately distorted proportions. Doors, televisions, sofas and household objects coexist in an impossible domestic environment, challenging our expectations of scale, perspective and spatial arrangement.

The accordion structure makes the experience interactive: as each section unfolds, another part of the household is revealed, turning the viewer into an uninvited visitor exploring someone else’s private world.

Behind its ordinary title, Home celebrates the freedom of surrealism to transform familiar spaces into something wonderfully absurd.
