ULY KHAOS CLOTHING IS DIVIDED INTO TWO LINES ACCORDING TO THE MAKING PROCESS BEHIND EACH PIECE
KHAOS LAB and ONE OF ONE reflect different levels of intervention, complexity and making time. The distinction is based on the process required to create each piece.
ONE OF ONE is where the making process becomes more extensive and complex. Pieces can involve hours, days or even weeks of handwork, combining techniques such as hand-stitching, embroidery, painting, collage and appliqué. The process makes each piece genuinely unrepeatable: made once, never reproduced.
KHAOS LAB is where transformation happens through a more contained making process. Garments can be cut, reconstructed, combined, printed or reworked in different ways, creating pieces that can change radically from their original form without requiring an extensive amount of time to make.
