When people ask me what I’ve done in my life, I never know where to start. Sometimes I feel like I’ve already lived a hundred different lives. Different countries. Different jobs. Different groups of friends. Different music. Different dreams. And somehow, every version of me was real.

People often talk about “finding themselves,” as if somewhere out there there’s one final version waiting to be discovered. I’ve never really understood that idea. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to find myself. I’ve always wanted to keep becoming.

When I look back, I don’t see one straight path. I see chapters that almost feel like different lives. Some lasted years, others only a few months. There was a version of me that couldn’t stop travelling, another that completely changed the music she listened to, another that fell in love with different worlds, different people, different ways of thinking. Every time I entered a new environment, I discovered a side of myself I didn’t even know existed.

And that’s my favourite part of being alive.

I love the idea that a single lifetime can contain so many different lives. That we’re not meant to become one person and stay that way forever. We change because we learn, because we meet people, because we move, because we lose things, because we fall in love with new ideas. Every experience quietly reshapes us.

I hope I never reach a point where I feel “finished.” I hope there are still countries I haven’t seen, people I haven’t met, passions I haven’t discovered, careers I haven’t imagined yet. I don’t want life to become predictable. I want to keep being surprised by who I can become next.

Maybe that’s why I don’t believe in one life. I think one lifetime is enough to live many of them. And if I’m lucky, I’ll get to live a hundred more before it’s over.
